For its 22nd annual season, The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (PSF) has "extra added attractions" intended to enchant, enchance and enrich the theater-going experience. These include:
Prologues" prior to every performance of "Measure for Measure" and "Henry VIII," when PSF officials offer insights 45 minutes before curtain call in the theater.
Opening night, post-show champagne toasts for "Oklahoma!," June 14; "The 39 Steps," June 21; "The Importance of Being Earnest," July 12; "Measure for Measure," July 20; and "Henry VIII," July 25.

Christian singer Adam Paul Williams performs at 6 p.m. June 9, Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, I-78 & Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Township. The concert will feature music from the church choirs. A free-will offering will be taken.
Williams will participate in church services at 8:30 and 11 a.m. June 9 services at the church.
The Saucon Valley Conservancy hosts its 2nd Annual Barn Photo Workshop, 9 a.m. - noon June 1, Heller Homestead, 1890-92 Friedensville Road, Lower Saucon Township.
The event is held rain or shine.
Take photographs of barns, historical buildings and other subjects with a digital SLR, point-and-shoot camera, or cell phone. Learn photo tips and techniques you can use on the 2013 Barn Tour of Saucon Valley Barns Sept. 14.
Rock fans are in for a sweet spot with the June 4 release of Kinks' legend Dave Davies new album, "I Will Be Me" (Cleopatra Records) only his sixth solo studio album by my count and his concert, 8 p.m. June 1, Musikfest Cafe, Bethlehem only one of a baker's dozen United States' gigs by my count (as of this article's deadline).
Speaking of counting, Davies is known for devising one of the most famous rhythms and riffs in rock 'n' roll this side of Bo Diddley (1, 2 ... 3, 4 .. 5, as in: bomp, bomp ... bomp, bomp ... bomp).
Art lovers are in for a treat this summer with the June 2 opening of "Toulouse-Lautrec and His World," through Sept. 1 at the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley.
At the preview party, 6 - 8 p.m. June 1, there will be themed hors d'oeuvres by Karen Hunter Catering, live music, cash bar and strolling women French-cabaret style. According to a museum press release, "can-canning is encouraged." (Reservations: 610-432-4333, ext. 129). There are more events, lectures and programs keyed to the exhibition.
