Members of the department assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers after reports of hit-and-run accidents in the 700 block of Locust Street.

In the unit block of North Ninth Street, officers assisted a citizen.

Police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. A warning was issued.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a reportable motor vehicle accident occurred.

A reckless driver on 14th Street was reported.

An unwanted person in the 600 block of St. John Street was reported to police. EMS responded for a possible drugged person.

On Cambridge Place, the illegal use of a credit card was reported to the department.

In the 500 block of Race Street, Daniel Dilliard, 22, of Catasauqua, was arrested under the charge of fugitive from justice.

Vehicle crashes through neighbor’s garage in E. Allen

On March 13, Mary Greenberg was having a relaxing morning recovering from a recent bout in the hospital when she heard a crash. “At first, I thought someone was trying to break in to the house,” she said. “I called my husband (Richard), who got here quickly.”

Greenberg’s neighbor, Michael Kolessar, had been backing out of his driveway and, according to his wife, Irene, he blacked out. His vehicle went through Greenberg’s garage door and collapsed the back wall of the garage. The driveways of the two neighbors are perfectly aligned across Valley View Road.

In the 1000 block of Seventh Street, a burning violation brought out police.

An abandoned vehicle in the 1300 block of Third Street was reported to the department.

A suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Third Street was reported to police.

Members of the department conducted a welfare check in the 1100 block of Third Street.

A domestic dispute between a male and female in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue occurred, police said.

Police responded to a domestic dispute between a male and two females in the 1400 block of Canal Street.

Criminal mischief at East 22nd Street and Line Alley was reported to the department. The report said the passenger-side window of a legally parked vehicle was smashed.

Credit card fraud in the 200 block of Diamond Street was reported.

Police take woman with handgun into custody

A report of an intoxicated woman brandishing a handgun brought Whitehall Township police March 4 to the 300 block of Calvert Street.

According to a press release, police officers were called to the scene 10:43 a.m.

The release said the woman, who remains unidentified, walked away from a residence in that area. Officers spotted the her at the intersection of Fairmont and Fullerton avenues.

At that time, they noticed the woman was in a possession of a handgun.

The officers then formed a perimeter and properly contained her, the release said.
