A theft from a building in the 400 block of East 10th Street brought out police. The report said two brown hanging planters with red geraniums were taken from a front porch.

In the 700 block of Main Street, police responded to a report of two white hanging planters with geraniums taken from a front porch.

A male making terroristic threats in the 1700 block of Franklin Street was reported to the department.

Officers assisted the Northampton County sheriff’s office with a protection-from-abuse service in the 200 block of Front Street.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, police assisted with a report of a protection-from-abuse violation.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a problem between two juveniles brought out police.

An assault in the 200 block of Second Street was reported to police. The investigation is continuing regarding a 16-year-old male from Catasauqua.

Danielsville man dies in Cherryville Road crash

A Danielsville man was killed May 26 in a two-vehicle crash on Cherryville Road in Allen Township.

According to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, Justin Gnas, 24, died at the scene from wounds sustained in the accident. The manner of death was ruled accidental.

The crash occurred just after 7 a.m. in the 4000 block of Cherryville Road.

In the 300 block of East Ninth Street, police investigated a report of criminal mischief. The driver-side rear door of a legally parked vehicle was damaged by a BB or pellet gun.
