Police investigated a report of disorderly conduct in the 2900 block of Zephyr Boulevard.

Disturbances on Forest Road and MacArthur Road were investigated.

AUG. 30

Officers investigated a theft from a vehicle in the 300 block of Oakwood Drive.

The department assisted with a report of a brush fire in the 2100 block of MacArthur Road.

Domestic offenses against family on Mickley Run and Maryland Circle brought out police.

A male causing a disturbance in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

Debit card fraud in the 200 block of East 20th Street was investigated by police.

Officers assisted Palmerton Police Department in the 1700 block of Main Street in making contact with a missing male.

Naloxone distribution part of Stop Overdoses in PA initiative

The Allentown and Bethlehem health bureaus, along with Northampton and Lehigh County state health centers, will once again be providing free naloxone as part of Gov. Tom Wolf’s Stop Overdoses in PA initiative. The naloxone distribution is scheduled for 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 18 and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 25 locally and throughout Pennsylvania, as long as supplies last.

Naloxone is a medication that does not harm the individual it is administered to and is used to reverse an overdose caused by an opioid by blocking the effects of opioids on the brain.

Criminal mischief — a residence egged — in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 300 block of East 12th Street.

AUG. 24

Police investigated a report of loud music in the 400 block of East Fifth Street.

An unwanted male trespassing at Redner’s Quick Shoppe, West 21st Street, was investigated.

In the 100 block of East Fourth Street, a domestic dispute occurred between a male and a female.

A disturbance at the Giant Food Store, 202 Chestnut St., between four females was investigated.

The department assisted Pennsylvania State Police in the unit block of North Sixth Street.

Suspicious activity in the unit block of North Eighth Street was reported.

On 14th Street, a driver was cited.

A hit and run occurred in the 200 block of Limestone Street. A vehicle hit a stop sign.

Police assisted at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road. The individual was located.

Officers conducted a citizen assist regarding information on harassment at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

Drivers were cited in the 200 block of Lehigh Street and on North 14th Street.

Slashed tires reported in Hanover Twp.

STATE POLICE

Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, are investigating reports of multiple tire slashings in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

According to the report, officers were called just before midnight Sept. 4 to the parking lot of Copperhead Grill, 1731 Airport Road, where they found eight vehicles with slashed tires.

They were also called to the parking lots of Hilton Garden Inn, 1787-B Airport Road, and A. Duie Pyle, 2900 Hoover Ave., where 25 vehicles with slashed tires were discovered.

Officers made a warrant arrest in the area of Third and Buttonwood streets.

The department assisted an outside agency in the 500 block of Buttonwood Street.

Illegal dumping in the 1100 block of Third Street was investigated.

A traffic stop was conducted on Pine Street to assist Catasauqua police.

Police investigated a domestic offense against family in the 700 block of Jordan Parkway.

A mental health call in the 1500 block of Alta Drive brought police to the scene.

Officers responded to disturbances on Lehigh Street and MacArthur Road.

The department handled a report of a person reportedly driving under the influence on Third Street.

A suspicious person in the 1200 block of Midway Road was reported.
