· Police were called to the 1700 block of Hokendauqua Street to investigate the theft of a digital camera and iPod.

Police respond to disturbance

Borough police on Saturday responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of South Second Street on notice of an intoxicated woman.

On arrival, police located a 29-year-old Allentown woman, who said she was at a party in the area and the person who was to take her home backed out.

The woman was upset, police said, and was waiting for her mother to drive her back to Allentown. Police remained in the area until her ride arrived.

Police respond to alarm

Coplay Police on Friday evening responded to an alarm at an apartment at 11 N. Front St.

Police said on arrival they determined the alarm was located on an exterior wall of the building. Unable to determine what type of alarm was sounding, police said everything inside the building was secure.

Lehigh Count Housing was notified and then dispatched personnel to the apartment building, police said.

Disturbance reported

Police responded to a report of a disturbance Aug. 25 on the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Police make arrests for prostitution

Eleven people were arrested Aug. 22 and 23 for alleged involvement in a coordinated prostitution ring.

Members of the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, the Allentown Police Department and the Lehigh County Drug Task Force focused their efforts on the Hanover Township area of Lehigh County. Prostitutes were also arrested in the City of Allentown and elsewhere in Lehigh County.
