Man refuses to leave apartment

A resident of the unit block of North Front Street summoned borough police late Saturday afternoon to her apartment to have her boyfriend removed from the premises.

The woman said her name is on the lease and she wanted her boyfriend to leave, but he refused to do so, police said.

Police said they spoke to the man, who agreed to leave, police said.

Dog attacked

A resident of the unit block of South Front Street informed police Feb. 28 that her dog had been attacked.

Fraud reported

Police responded to a Feb. 4 report by a 54-year-old resident of the 3200 block of Cherryville Road that she received a phone call from an unknown person claiming he worked for Kenneth Miller and Associates.

The caller told the woman if she failed to pay amounts due on past debts a warrant would be issued for her arrest, police said.

The woman provided her credit card number and authorized a $2,000 payment, police said.

· A missing juvenile on probation brought officers to the 200 block of High Street.

· Police went to the 100 block of Bridge Street to assist a woman who had fallen.

Vandalism reported

Coplay Police were called Feb.22 to the 100 block of South Front Street for a report of vandalism.

Police said the license plate bracket had been broken off the parked 1994 Ford camper and a Duralast battery valued at $150 had been taken from the vehicle.

Police are investigating.

Police respond to disturbance

A disturbance Feb. 20 shortly after 9 p.m. brought police to a residence in the 100 block of South Front Street.

Police seek

witnesses to

fatal crash

MacArthur Road was closed Tuesday from Eberhardt Road to Mechanicsville Road to allow police to perform a fatal accident reconstruction.

Two people were killed Saturday in the crash which took place at 6:09 p.m. at MacArthur and Eberhart roads in Whitehall.

Police have tentatively identified the victims as Whitehall residents Sharon Gonazalez-Medina, 41, and a 16-year-old juvenile. Both were in the same vehicle.

U.S. Luge Team sleds lost, found

Police were called to Airport Road near Old Carriage Road in East Allen Township Feb. 15 to investigate a report of lost sleds owned by the U.S. Luge Team Association of Lake Place, N.Y.

Police said the rear door of a box truck opened and sleds owned by the U.S. Luge Team fell off the truck and onto the road.

In a separate incident report issued Feb. 22, police reported a citizen who lives near Route 248 on Dannersville Road found the sleds.

The resident thought they belonged to a neighbor and stored them in a garage, police said.

Crime Watch meeting set

Whitehall Township will hold its next Crime Watch meeting 7 p.m. Feb. 25 in the public meeting room of the municipal building.

Whitehall Mayor Edward Hozza Jr. will deliver his state of the township address, which will detail the township's growth, construction progress, projected completion schedules, future plans, goals and township direction for 2013.

Also during the meeting, Denise Continenza will speak on Communities that Care and Scott Grim will provide information on the Community Emergency Response Team.
