OCTOBER 15

· A report of criminal mischief brought officers to the 400 block of Bath Avenue.

· Police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Second Street.

· Officers responded to a request for a protection-from-abuse order in the 200 block of North 14th Street.

· A dispute between neighbors brought police to the 200 block of Wood Street.

· Officers were called to the D&D Market, 252 Race St., to investigate a report of retail theft.

Woman cited for harassment

Coplay Police on Monday reported Debbie Huber of South Fourth St., Allentown, was cited for harassment following a disturbance on Oct. 17 in the 200 block of South Second Street in the borough.

Police said they observed four people standing outside, one who said a man had a gun. Police searched the individual but no weapon was found, police said.

Police were told the four people got into an argument. Huber is alleged to have struck another person with her cane, causing a bruise, police said.

· Officers responded to a report of the theft of a DVD and prescription drugs from a vehicle at the Redner's Quick Shoppe, 33 W. 21st St.

· A report of a deer that jumped over the front of a vehicle and hit a Northampton police cruiser on the left front side brought officers to the railroad crossing on 21st Street.

· Police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle crash in the 1700 block of Main Street.

Disturbance reported

Coplay Police responded at 1:22 a.m. Saturday to the Log Cabin Tavern, Second & Hall streets, on a report of a disturbance.

On arrival, patrol officers observed several people standing outside the tavern. Officers were told an altercation occurred between two men in the bar.

One of the men was hit in the face with a set of keys, police said. The individual who was struck confronted another man, who he thought threw the keys, police said.
