The department received a report of bridge construction signs knocked over along the Ironton Rail Trail.

Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 200 block of South Front Street.

At Turkey Hill Minit Market, 1060 Main St., a cellphone, left on the counter by a customer, was taken.

A fire alarm sounded in the 2700 block of Cherryville Road. Officers assisted the fire department with a residential fire.

A domestic dispute between a male and female in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue occurred, the department said.

In the 600 block of Limestone Street, a dispute between a mother and daughter brought out police.

Police investigated a protection-from-abuse case in the 200 block of Front Street.

Four no parking signs were issued in the 400 block of Prospect Street, the department said.

Sixteen parking tickets were filed at the department, 118 Bridge St.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with a report of a hit and run in the 500 block of Front Street.

District attorney warns public of new dangerous drug

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli is warning the public about Gray Death, a new drug that can kill with a single dose. This drug is dangerous even to touch with gloves, Morganelli said, adding there have been reported overdoses in Georgia, Alabama and Ohio.

Gray Death is comprised of heroin, fentanyl, the elephant tranquilizer carfentanil and a synthetic opioid called U-47700.
