Wayne Bloomberg, 66, of Northampton, died unexpectedly Jan. 8, 2013, in Pocono Medical Center. He was the husband of Danielle (Mihalko) Bloomberg for 40 years.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Everet and Lenore (Long) Bloomberg.
He was in the U.S. Army and was a lieutenant in Vietnam and a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Wilkes College.
He was a wage practice consultant at AT&T - Agere until he retired in 2003.
Herbert E. Long, 87, of Fellowship Community, died Dec. 30, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Elayne M. (Romig) Long for 61 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herbert F. and Eva S. (Bodman) Long.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during World War II.
He was a foreman and machinist at Ingersoll Rand for 42 years until he retired.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
Harold M. Bryan, 84, formerly of Catasauqua, died Jan. 2, 2013. He was the husband of Wilma (Ring) Bryan.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Milton C. and Ruth M. (Weiss) Bryan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was the owner of H. Bryan and Sons Home Improvement for many years. He worked for Spring Ridge Apartments until he retired in 1990.
Peter Stesney Jr., 87, of Allentown, died Dec. 27, 2012, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Springfield, Va. His daughter, Laura Kordelski, and a sister, Bernice Supinski, also died in the accident.
He was the companion of Joan Matuskowitz for 17 years.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Peter and Kathryn (Cole) Stesney Sr.
He was a Merchant Marine in the U.S. Coast Guard for 17 years and retired in 1988. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was in World War II and the Korean War.

David J. Bielaski, 55, of Allen Township, died Dec. 28, 2012, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Laura (Saleeby) Bielaski for 32 years.
Born in Morristown, N.J., he was a son of Anna (Zuzock) Bielaski of Sun City, Ariz., and the late John Bielaski.
He was a supervising machinist for 30 years.
He was a former vice president of the Allen Township Youth Association and coached the baseball and football teams.
Gary Thomas Breisch, 60, of Catasauqua, died Jan. 1, 2012, in Liberty Nursing Home, Easton. He was the husband of the late Jane (Frankenfield) Breisch.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Lester F. and Edna E. (Thomas) Breisch.
He was a silk screen printer for Majestic Printing, formerly R.P. Printing of Coplay. He previously worked for Fashion Prints and Funstuff.
He was involved with Catasauqua Boys Club / Youth Club for 25 years, and was a supervisor for 15 years.
Rose M. Keppel, 88, of Coplay, died Jan. 3, 2013, in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Frank F. Keppel Jr.
Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Frisch) Rothdeutsch.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former J & J Sportswear, Northampton.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay.
Lamont J. White, 80, of Northampton, died Dec. 28, 2012, at ManorCare Health Services II, Bethlehem.
Born in Pennsville, he was a son of the late Walter and Hilda (Frack) White.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a mechanic in the Lehigh Valley for many years until retiring.
He is survived by two brothers, Claude of Bethlehem and Earl and his wife Sonia of Mission Vieja, Calif.; four sisters, Beatrice and her husband Craig Beltzner, Helen Reppert, Kathleen and her husband Stephen Toth, all of Northampton, and Dorothy Clauser of Allentown.
Roy R. Smith Jr., 71, of North Catasauqua, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Linda (Carl) Smith for 48 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Roy R. Sr. and Marion (Jones) Smith.
He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era.
He was a computer aided drafting consultant for many years for Milliken Valve, Bethlehem, until he retired. Previously, he was a manager for Western Union for 24 years.

Stephen S. Deutsch, 89, of Fullerton, died peacefully Dec. 28, 2012, at the home of his daughter in Catasauqua, surrounded by his loving and dedicated family. He was the husband of the late Kathryn E. (Eisenhard) Deutsch for 52 years. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Schmidt) Deutsch.
He was a dedicated member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown.
He served in Europe with the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton.
