Ralph W. Seaton Jr., 79, of Fullerton, died Feb. 3, 2014, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.
He was the husband of Roberta P. (Moir) Seaton of Fullerton for 34 years.
Born in Fullerton, he was a son of the late Ralph Sr. and Catherine (Demko) Seaton.
He was employed by the former Fuller Company as a designer and draftsman.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.
He was a member of the Northampton Senior Center, Prime Time Club of Fullerton, AARP of Allentown and the Hokendauqua American Legion.
Richard P. Kuhns, 87, of Nazareth, died Feb. 4, 2014, at Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia (Schoenberger) Kuhns for 64 years.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Howard and Mary (Naypouer) Kuhns.
He was in the 504th Parachute Infantry, 82nd Airborne Division in the U.S. Army during World War II .
He was a machinist for Bethlehem Steel, Sheridan Machine Shop and Mack Trucks for many years before retiring.
He played golf for the Nazareth Golf League.
Raymond J. Salapka, 61, of Easton, died Feb. 6, 2014, at home. He was the husband of Sharon (Wagner) Salapka.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., he was a son of Eleanor (DeWitt) Salapka and the late John Salapka.
He was in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was a corrections officer at Mahan Women's Prison, Clinton, N.J.
He was president of Jersey Bushido Kai Karate School and was an eighth degree blackbelt.
He was a member of the Paupack Sailing Club since 1999.
Milton Pletchan, 86, of Allentown and formerly of Whitehall-Egypt, died Feb. 3, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Samuel Pletchan and Catherine (Kochenash) Pletchan.
He was the husband of Rita (Stinner) Pletchan.
He was a 1945 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a buffer and polisher for General Electric/Black and Decker for 32 years before retiring in 1982.
Harry B. Ramsey, 87, of Catasauqua, died Feb. 5, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Snyder) Ramsey.
He was a son of the late Harry Clinton and Hulda (Bohlin) Ramsey.
He earned a journalism degree from Lehigh University.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He was an assistant executive director of Lehigh University's Alumni Association, retiring in 1988, after working for 28 years, but remaining as a consultant.
Before that, he was an owner/operator of the Catasauqua Dispatch for several years.
Roxane Schneck, 49, of Emmaus, died Feb. 6, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Leo W.H. and Shirley V. (Muth) Schweitzer of Northampton.
She was a 1982 graduate of Northampton High School and a 1985 graduate of Allentown Business School.
She was a bookkeeper and clerical worker for ACME Cryogenics, Allentown. She was a self employed bookkeeper since 1987.
She volunteered with the Foresters organization.
Kenneth L. Rolen, 84, of Coplay, died Jan. 26, 2014, at home. He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Guimont) Rolen.
Born in Knoxville, Tenn., he was a son of the late Edd Francis and Minnie (Chamber) Rolen.
He was a Korean and Vietnam War veteran, and served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Loraine and her husband Joseph Russo of Bethlehem, Thelma and her husband Forrest May of Germansville and Ingrid Neuber of Berlin, Germany; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Harold A. DeRemer, 97 of Allentown, died Feb. 1, 2014, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Eleanor G. (Billig) for 68 years.
Born in Jim Thorpe, he was a son of the late Irvin and Emma (Rabe) DeRemer.
He earned his professional engineer's license in 1964.
He was a Warrant Officer Junior Grade in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was an electrical engineer for the former General Electric, Allentown, for 32 years before retiring in 1983. While with G.E., he was credited with eight patents.
John A. Roth, 87, of Schnecks-ville, died Jan. 31, 2014 at Woodland Terrace, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Margaret H.(Gilly) Roth.
Born in North Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Harvey E. Roth and the late Sarah Jane (Greene) Roth.
He was a PFC in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a self-employed siding and metal roofing contractor in the Lehigh Valley for more than 50 years, before retiring in 1990.
He was a member of Egypt Community Church, Whitehall.
Jennie C. Hodge, 83, of Alexandria Manor, Bath, and formerly of Catasauqua, died Jan. 31, 2014. She was the wife of the late Gerald J. Hodge.
Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Rosie (Hahn) Walter.
She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.
Her family was her greatest joy.
