Police issue DUI citation

A traffic stop by borough police Sept. 15 resulted in the arrest of Kyle Miller, 32, of 17 W. Tenth St., Northampton.

Miller was cited for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported by police to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center, Allentown, for processing.

Tricycle stolen

With autumn in the air, the black and gold football uniformed clad youngsters from Coplay are now represented on the Hokey Eagle teams, from flag football through the various weight teams.

As in past years, the Hokey teams have always had a good representation when it comes to its football program.

The Colonel John Siegfried Elementary School, Northampton, was presented a plaque Friday by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Eastern Pennsylvania/Lehigh Valley Branch, for its outstanding "Pennies for Patients" fundraiser. Drainage study needed

A study and plan in connection with the Northampton Area Middle School project for a new drainage field and irrigation system has been approved by the Northampton Area School District school board.

The school board voted 8-0, with one member absent, to spend $24,000 to determine the feasibility of the project and provide for alternate bids.
