The Allen Township Board of Supervisors is expected to restrict the operation of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and snowmobiles in the township.
There have been complaints by residents regarding snowmobiles crossing over private property lines. A resident who attended a recent supervisors meeting said snowmobiles have also crossed a local cemetery.
In bringing up the issue of ATVs, the supervisors agreed the proposed ordinance drafted by solicitor F. Lincoln Treadwell should also address snowmobiles. The legislation will be up for a vote at a subsequent board meeting.
