You need to take a closer look at the art work of Surrealist Artist Rigo Peralta to see the energy of his paintings. Peralta's new exhibition, "Más allá de la existencia" ("Beyond The Existence"), features exotic colors and vivid persona.

An opening reception for the exhibit is 5 - 10 p.m. Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, at Peralta's studio gallery, 1131 Linden St., Allentown. His studio gallery opened in October 2013. Peralta's former studio was at the Banana Factory, Bethlehem.

Karen Maurer, a Bethlehem storyteller, brings her craft to the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild's "Winter Children's Series," 2 p.m. Feb. 16, Godfrey Daniels, 7 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem.

"Her" is a brilliant, prescient and unsettling romantic comedy by director Spike Jonze (born Adam Spiegel; director, "Adaptation," 2002; "Being John Malkovich," 1999).

The "Her" of the film's title is an OS1 (as in "Operating System," the recorded voice within a phone, mobile device or computer).
