Little Moore to host festival

The annual country festival will take place 3-9 p.m. this Saturday at Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville. The church is located along Route 946.

The event will feature live music, food and games for children and adults of all ages. A cakewalk is planned, along with a raffle with more than 100 great prizes.

The rain date is Sunday, noon-6 p.m.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, is having a flea market this Saturday.

UCC Country Festival this month

Vacation Bible schools scheduled

Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church invites all children ages 3-10 to vacation Bible school.

"Kingdom Rock – Where Kids Stand Strong for God" will be held 6-8:30 p.m. July 28-Aug. 1.

A light dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. will precede each evening's activities.

Salem UCC blueberry festival set for July 13

The annual Blueberry Festival will be held at Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, Bath, from 3 to 9 p.m. on July 13.

Homemade foods will be sold and game stands will be open. There will also be a cake walk and raffle drawing.

Church to host story time

Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive (Route 946), will be holding story time in June and July.

Children ages 3-5 are invited 9:30 to 11 a.m. every Wednesday during those months.

Saturday is recycling day

Moore Township electronics recycling day is this Saturday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will be held at Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive, Bath.

This free service is available to all residents and small businesses with less than 50 employees.

Electronic devices with a plug will be accepted with the exception of smoke detectors, large appliances and projection televisions.

The Moore PTA is sponsoring a spring carnival and Egyptian night at the museum 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5.

It will include food and games, an obstacle course, dunk tank, prizes and music and more.

A video submitted by Joseph Stumer II of Moore Township has been selected to air during this Sunday's 7 p.m. episode of "America's Funniest Videos."

The video was taken during Joey's karate red belt testing. Tune in to the ABC network to see why it was chosen for the AFV show.

The Moore Township Athletic Association sign-ups for fall football, cheerleading and soccer will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m. May 11, 18 and 25 at the Borek Football Field team room.

There is a fee.
