Emmanuel's Christmas concert Sunday

Emmanuel's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Moore Township, will present a Christmas concert 2 p.m. Jan. 5.

The event will feature a variety of musicians and singers including cantata selections from "There Is Peace In The World Tonight" by the Cantata Choir.

Lions/Lioness tree lighting Saturday

The Moore Township Lions and Lioness Club invites the community to their annual tree lighting Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The tree is located at the corner of Route 987 and 946 in Klecknersville.

Santa will visit and refreshments will be provided by Latteman Corner Store and Covenant United Methodist Church.

Girls invited to faith club

Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, Klecknersville, invites girls ages 8-14 to A Life of Faith Girls Club.

The group meets 2-4 p.m. the third Sunday of the month, September through May, and offers time for fun, snacks and making crafts.

Moore Elementary hosting vendor fair

The Moore Elementary School PTA Holiday Vendor Fair will take place 4-8 p.m. Nov. 21 at the school.

In addition to vendors and crafts, a door prize table will benefit a Moore Elementary School Relay For Life team and a bake sale table will benefit the sixth-grade class.

Sign up for wrestling tonight

The Moore Township Athletic Association will hold final wrestling sign-ups at the Borek Fieldhouse 6-8 p.m. Oct. 10, 15 and 17.

Sign-ups take place in the Moore Township Recreation Center, off English Road.

There is a fee for each child.

Moore Township will hold a household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.

There is no charge for dropping off.

The event is open to residents of Northampton County only and proof of residency is required.

Moore Township Lions and Lioness will hold their 17th Annual Car Show this Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.

The show will be held at the Moore Township Recreation Center, on English Road.
