Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

APRIL 3

A report of a gas leak in the 1900 block of Canal Street brought police to the scene.

An odor complaint in the 900 block of Main Street was investigated.

Domestic disputes were reported in the 1000 block of Main Street and in the 100 block of Candlewycke Lane.

Police responded to a child custody issue in the 1000 block of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 2000 block of Center Street.

APRIL 4

Police assisted Northampton Fire Department for a fire call in the 2200 block of Main Street.

A juvenile problem was investigated in the 1000 block of Main Street.

At Northampton Exxon, 2428 Main St., a male shoplifting was reported to the department.

A male reportedly making terroristic threats was investigated in the 2600 block of Main Street.

APRIL 5

A report of loud music in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 700 block of Siegfried Avenue.

In the 2100 block of Washington Avenue, a domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred.

At Turkey Hill Minit Market, 1060 Main St., a male shoplifting was reported.

On West 21st Street, a report of a suspicious vehicle was investigated.

Officers responded to a report of two suspicious males in the 100 block of Boro Vu Drive.

APRIL 6

A male in the 2600 block of Main Street was served with a warrant and transported to Northampton County Prison.

In the 1500 block of Washington Avenue, a juvenile problem was investigated.

APRIL 7

Neighbor complaints in the 1500 block of Dewey Avenue and in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue were reported.

A juvenile problem in the 1400 block of Beil Alley was investigated.

Police responded to a report of a civil matter in the 300 block of Adaire Court.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 1000 block of Main Street and at East Fourth and Main streets.

A report of an unwanted male on West 21st Street was investigated.

APRIL 8

In the 200 block of West 14th Street, a report of harassment via text messaging was investigated.

Officers checked on the welfare of females in the 2300 block of Main Street and in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue.

APRIL 9

Police investigated a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

An animal complaint — a dog barking — in the 300 block of East Ninth Street was reported.

The department received a report of a missing person in the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.

A suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of West 27th Street was reported.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue.

In the 400 block of East Ninth Street, a report of loud noise was investigated.

APRIL 10

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 1600 block of Poplar Street.
