Goodwill Keystone Area recently opened its doors to a new retail store and donation center located at 2675 MacArthur Road, Whitehall Township.

Goodwill is one of the latest tenants at MacArthur Commons and can be found next to Planet Fitness and Burlington.

“We’re excited to open this new location and expand our retail presence in the Lehigh Valley,” said Rick Moser, senior vice president of retail for Goodwill Keystone Area. “Not only can shoppers find gently used items at affordable prices, but proceeds from the sale of items at our stores support Goodwill’s mission of providing job-training programs and employment services for people with disabilities and other barriers to independence.”

The Goodwill Whitehall Store & Donation Center will be open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. The approximately 16,000-square-foot store includes clothing, footwear, outerwear, jewelry and accessories, antiques and collectibles, housewares, books, games and more. Donation drop-offs can be made in the back of the store. While this location will not be accepting furniture, the community can visit to get a full list of donated items that are accepted.

Goodwill Keystone Area operates more than 40 stores — including three in Lehigh County — in 22 southeast and central Pennsylvania counties. Proceeds from Goodwill stores fund job-training and employment programs to help people in need earn a paycheck and reach their fullest potential as workers and as members of the broader community.
