Lehigh Township Historical Society is presenting a program on Pennsylvania German gravestones 11 a.m. Oct. 12 in the social hall of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Indianland, 787 Almond Road.

Michael Emery, of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, will discuss the materials used, engraved text and decorative styles found on the grave markers.

Following the presentation, there will be a walk around the cemetery to view the old stones. This event is free and open to the public.

St. Paul’s Schoolhouse will be open 10-11 a.m. and noon-2 p.m.
