Coplay: Dinner to be served Oct. 12 at St. Peter

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner with the fixings 4-7 p.m. Oct. 12.

The dinner is open to the public.


Don’t miss Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association’s community Halloween parade set for 7 p.m. Oct. 15.

The parade route begins at Chestnut and Ninth streets, travels down to Second Street and south to Hokendauqua Street.

Participating in the parade are youth organization cheerleaders and athletic teams, Boy and Girl Scout troops, firefighters, churches and more. The Whitehall High School Marching Zephyr Band and East Hills Middle School band, Bethlehem Area School District, are among the musical participants.

There is no rain date for the event.


With summer at an end, Coplay Public Library is changing its hours to 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
