Bath: Get your tickets now for Sept. 14 barbecue dinner
Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, will be holding a chicken barbecue dinner 3-6 p.m. Sept. 14. The event will be held indoors.

Lauren’s Hope Dragon Boat Festival is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 15 at Evergreen Lake, 2375 Benders Drive, Bath. Lauren’s Hope benefits children with brain injuries.
Besides boat racing, there will be a food truck, vendors, children’s tent, arts and crafts and more.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, announces its fall schedule begins Sept. 15.
The schedule is as follows:
• 8 a.m. — traditional worship in the sanctuary
• 9:05 a.m. — youth choir
• 9:30 a.m. — Sunday school
• 9:30 a.m. — celebration worship in the fellowship hall
• 10:45 a.m. — traditional worship in the sanctuary
Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church will be having a flea market on the pavilion Sept. 21. The event will start 7 a.m.
Proceeds from the bake sale, food and drinks will benefit the tree fund.
Vendors are needed to sell crafts, antiques and household treasures. There is a suggested donation to rent a space. Reserve your space now.
Also, volunteers are needed to bake and staff the tables.
