North Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JUNE 2

Police were on the scene of an assault in the area of Sixth and Chapel streets.

Domestic calls in the 1200 block of Howertown Road were investigated.

A DUI involving a wanted person at Second and Eugene streets had officers on the scene.

The department responded to a hit and run in the 1100 block of Howertown Road.

Police assisted a citizen in the 1100 block of Third Street.

Officers performed a welfare check in the 1000 block of Railroad Street.

The department assisted a citizen in the 700 block of Grove Street.

JUNE 4

Police responded to a neighbor dispute in the 1000 block of Second Street.

An open gate at the D&L trailhead was investigated.

JUNE 5

Officers were on the scene of a DUI and drug investigation at Fourth and Grove streets.

The department assisted an outside agency in the 1400 block of Main Street.

A traffic stop was conducted at Second and Eugene streets.

Police assisted Northampton police in the area of Railroad and Chestnut streets.

JUNE 6

Suspicious activity in the 1400 block of Main Street was reported.

Officers investigated criminal mischief in the 1100 block of Front Street.

An abandoned vehicle in the 300 block of Grove Street was handled by police.

A traffic stop occurred at Fourth and Buttonwood streets.

A burglary in the 1200 block of Third Street brought officers to the scene.

The department assisted Northampton police with a welfare check in the 700 block of Main Street.

Police assisted the fire department with a water rescue on the Lehigh River.

A found dog in the 1200 block of Second Street was reported.

A traffic stop was conducted on Howertown Road.

Police handled a reckless driver on the Hokendauqua-North Catasauqua Bridge.
