Pastors Barry and Elizabeth Mitchell retired May 1 after having served at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath, for nearly 30 years. Their last service was April 28. A retirement luncheon was held after the service at the Northampton Banquet and Event Center with nearly 320 friends, family, congregation members and fellow pastors in attendance. Moore Township: Fire company holds cash bingo

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, is having a big cash bingo 7 p.m. May 18.

Moore Township residents are invited to participate in a household hazardous waste event 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. May 18.

The event will take place at Northampton Community College, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem. Proof of residency is required.

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, is having a basket social May 31. Doors open 4 p.m.

The drawing will take place 8 p.m. Participants do not need to be present to win.
