Korea/Vietnam Memorial program set for April 28

The Korea/Vietnam Memorial Inc. will have a special commemorative program 2 p.m. April 28 at the U.S. Armed Forces Plaza, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Route 309, Schnecksville.

Veterans whose names have been added to the plaza, a Purple Heart recipient, members of the Allentown Veterans Outreach Group and the Fleet Reserve will be honored.

Special recognition will be given to the longtime KVM officers, CEO Frank Ginther and President Robert Wolfe.

LCCC President Dr. Ann Bieber and Director of Veterans Services Leslie Bartholomew will give presentations.

All veterans, their families and friends are invited to attend. This is an outdoor event so bring seating.

In case of inclement weather, the program will be held in the community services building on campus.

Plans are being made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the dedication of the U.S. Armed Forces Plaza April 26, 2020.
