Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 4

Officers were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of South Second Street.

The department addressed a neighbor complaint in the 1100 block of Center Circle.

Police assisted with a civil matter in the 200 block of South Front Street.

A parking issue was handled in the unit block of North Fourth Street.

MARCH 5

Officers investigated a report of criminal trespassing in the 100 block of North Fifth Street.

The department performed a security check in the unit block of North Fourth Street.

Police assisted with a family matter in the 1000 block of Bernice Drive.

Officers provided a protection-from-abuse service in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.

A security check was requested for the 100 block of North Ninth Street.

Parking complaints were addressed on Center, North Second and South Second streets.

MARCH 7

A hit-and-run accident in the unit block of South Front Street brought police to the scene.

Police responded to a fire alarm in the unit block of North Front Street.

Officers were requested to check on two dogs reported to be left outside in the 200 block of South Second Street.

A driver was charged with DUI during a traffic stop in the unit block of North Second Street.

A citation was issued for a stop sign violation in the area of South Second and Center streets.
