Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

OCT. 8

Police investigated a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of Oak Street.

Officers responded to a report of an unwanted person in the unit block of North Third Street.

A suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of South Second Street was reported.

Police responded to an animal complaint in the 200 block of North Ruch Street. A resident was concerned about his neighbor’s aggressive dog and the fence between yards.

The department performed a welfare check in the unit block of North Third Street.

OCT. 9

Police were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of Coplay Street.

Officers took a male into custody in the 100 block of Maple Street. The man had a New Jersey warrant for drug possession.

A parking complaint in the 200 block of Chestnut Street was received.

OCT. 10

The department assisted with a civil matter in the 200 block of South Front Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the unit block of South Seventh Street.

OCT. 11

A motor vehicle accident with injuries at Bird Alley and Hall Street brought police to the scene.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a written warning for a stop sign violation at South Second and Hokendauqua streets.

Parking complaints on North Fourth and Chestnut streets were addressed.

OCT. 13

Officers responded to an animal complaint in the 800 block of Barbara Drive.

The department assisted Whitehall police in locating a missing juvenile in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Police investigated a residential alarm in the 300 block of Maple Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with an animal complaint in the 3000 block of North Fifth Street.

Parking complaints on North Second, Cherry and Hokendauqua streets were addressed.

Police assisted the fire department with a fire alarm in the unit block of North Front Street.

The department responded to a domestic dispute in the unit block of South Front Street.

A male was taken into custody on a probation violation warrant in the unit block of South Front Street.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of North Second Street was received.
