Gregory J. Wetherhold Sr., 73, of Cherryville, died Oct. 5, 2018, at the VNA Hospice, St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Linda J. (Fenstermaker) Wetherhold.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George and Althea (Gehris) Wetherhold.

He worked for C&K Carriers, Walnutport, and later for 14 years at Carlisle Trucking, Fogelsville, until he retired in 2017. He was a former co-owner and operator of the Klecknersville Hotel, Moore Township.

He was a member of the Alliance Volunteer Fire Hall and the Liederkranz, both in Northampton. He was an honorary supervisor of the Cherryville Turkey Hill.

He is survived by a daughter, Kelly J. and her husband Richard F. Ackerman of Northampton; a son, Gregory J. Jr. of Cherryville; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Matthew; a sister, Mary and her husband Nevin Maury of Allentown; a brother, Charles and his wife Dorothy of Sanford, Fla.; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a calling time 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
