Moore Township: Oktoberfest planned for Oct. 6
Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, invites the community to Oktoberfest 2-6 p.m. Oct. 6.
Come out for food, hayrides, bingo, face painting, apple bobbing, pumpkin carving and other games. There will also be a blessing of the pets 4 p.m.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, invites the community to its annual fall festival 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 6.
There will be games, hayrides, barrel train rides for kids, great food, a Chinese auction and entertainment by Karaoke with Bubba.

Moore Township invites residents to participate in the last Northampton County Hazardous Waste recycling event for this year. It will be 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 6 at Waste Management, 910 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl.

Moore Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is having an event called Painting Pumpkins with Pop Oct. 10.
Bring a pumpkin and your father, grandfather, uncle, etc., and enjoy painting pumpkins together. The PTA will provide all paint and extras to make a masterpiece. There is a cost.
Session 1 will be held 5:50-6:50 p.m., and session 2 will be held 7-8 p.m. at Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive.
