Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

JUNE 23

Police received a report of juveniles spray painting the trestle along the Ironton Rail Trail.

A domestic dispute in the unit block of North Front Street brought officers to the scene.

A disabled vehicle in the unit block of North Second Street was reported.

Police performed a welfare check in the 200 block of South Second Street.

JUNE 24

Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the unit block of South Third Street.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the unit block of North Seventh Street. An outside oil tank was reportedly being spray painted.

JUNE 25

Criminal mischief at the Coplay Sports Field Complex, Potter Terrace Alley, was investigated. Someone spray painted an electric meter, light poles and a propane tank.

A suspicious person in the unit block of North Sixth Street was reported.

Officers were on the scene of a disturbance between several individuals in the unit block of South Front Street.

Police investigated a possible identity theft in the 100 block of South Front Street.

A dog running loose in the 200 block of South Fourth Street was reported.

The department responded to a residential alarm in the unit block of South Fourth Street.

JUNE 26

Police investigated a fraud complaint in the unit block of South Third Street.

A suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street was reported.

Officers assisted Allentown police with a road rage incident in the unit block of Tapler Drive.

The department investigated a disturbance in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Suspicious activity in the unit block of North Third Street was reported.

A written warning was issued during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Police performed a welfare check in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with a motor vehicle accident in the 3300 block of North Front Street.

JUNE 28

Police were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of Keefer Street.

Officers investigated a possible fraud attempt in the unit block of North Sixth Street.

A small skunk acting strangely in the 100 block of South Front Street was reported.

Police responded to a report of a dog running loose in the 200 block of South Front Street.

JUNE 29

Officers were on the scene of a drug complaint in the unit block of North Second Street.

A domestic disturbance in the unit block of South Front Street was investigated.

A cellphone in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street was reported lost.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Cherry Street.

Criminal mischief at Saylor Kilns was reported. A monument was spray painted.

JUNE 30

A loud party in the unit block of South Sixth Street was reported.

Police investigated criminal mischief on North Ninth and Chestnut streets for spray paint on buildings.

Officers assisted Upper Macungie police with a hit-and-run investigation.

A dog running loose was found by police in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

The department performed a security check on Maple Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of North Ruch Street.

JULY 1

An adult male was arrested for retail theft at Giant Food Store, 202 Chestnut St.

The department addressed a parking complaint in the unit block of North Second Street.
