Catasauqua: Concert series begins May 25

It’s the season for summer band concerts.

Scott Marshall Band will start off the summer concert series with a performance 7-10 p.m. May 25 at Catasauqua Park Ampitheater, 501 American St.

Come on out this summer for free music by horn-raising municipal bands, foot-tapping country acts and musical acts of every beat.

Catasauqua Fire Police will be having a yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 26 at the fire training grounds on Race Street.

You can rent a 10-foot-by-10-foot space for a small fee.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will hold a flea market 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 2.

Also featured are a basket raffle and bake sale.

Pickled red beets and lots of other good food will be available to eat there or take home.

St. Mary’s preschool, 122 Union St., is now accepting registrations for the 2018-19 school year.

The 4-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
