Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 26

A dispute between brothers occurred in the 700 block of Crane Street.

In the 500 block of Race Street, a cellphone was stolen.

Officers conducted a welfare check on Second Street for a problem with other juveniles.

Police checked on the welfare of a person with mental health issues in the 100 block of Front Street.

The department said an investigation is continuing for a reckless driver complaint on Bridge Street.

MARCH 27

On Race Street, police sought vehicle repossession information.

Officers investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of Faith Drive. Police said there was a custody issue.

In the 700 block of Crane Street, police responded to a noise complaint.

A vehicle was tagged in the 700 block of Front Street.

In the 200 block of Lehigh Street, police investigated a noise complaint from an idling truck.

Suspicious activity in the 200 block of Church Street was reported. The report said persons were looking in cars.

MARCH 28

The department received a complaint of harassment by communication in the 200 block of Church Street.

An owner was warned in the 300 block of Mulberry Street when police investigated a noise complaint.

MARCH 29

In the 200 block of Front Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

An investigation is continuing for a fraud case in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

At Action Parts, 623 Howertown Road, a vehicle was damaged.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

MARCH 30

A loose dog was picked up by its owner in the 200 block of High Street.

Officers sought vehicle repossession information in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

An abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of Chapel Street was reported.

Police responded to a parking complaint in the 600 block of Faith Drive.

MARCH 31

On Pine Street, a manhole cover was displaced.

Officers investigated noise complaints at Gallery 415, 417 Front St.

In the 600 block of Lehigh Street, a deer was struck.

Witts Tree Service, 738 Front St., requested traffic signs, the department said.

On Walnut Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

In the 200 block of Front Street, a building was tagged.

In the 300 block of Circle Drive, issues between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend regarding child custody occurred.

A wall was tagged in the 200 block of Front Street.

Police responded to a noise complaint in the 700 block of Front Street.

A hit and run occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.

A wanted person on Second Street was stopped, and a warrant service was conducted.

In the 700 block of Front Street, Allen Robles, 22, of Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault and physical harassment and contact.

Officers and the department’s K-9 assisted Pennsylvania State Police on Interstate 78 for a drug search during a vehicle stop.

Persons were reportedly urinating outside in the 500 block of St. John Street. Police responded to the criminal mischief report.
