Coplay police responded to these and other calls recently.

FEB. 26

Officers assisted Palmer Township police in a joint investigation involving several retail thefts.

Police assisted with a vehicle repossession in the 100 block of Chestnut Street.

FEB. 27

The department provided a protection-from-abuse service in the unit block of South Second Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with a juvenile issue in the 100 block of South Front Street.

FEB. 28

A motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Cherry Street brought police to the scene.

Officers provided a protection-from-abuse service in the unit block of North Seventh Street.

A lost bicycle in the area of Saylor Field was reported.

A noise complaint regarding loud music in the unit block of North Second Street was received.

Police performed welfare checks on South Second and Chestnut streets.

MARCH 1

Officers investigated a report of harassment in the 200 block of Coplay Street.

A security check was performed in the unit block of South 12th Street.

The department assisted a citizen in the 100 block of South Sixth Street.

MARCH 2

Officers responded to reports of open doors on Coplay and North Second streets.

A streetlight down in the area of Catherine and Barbara drives was reported.

An abandoned vehicle in the unit block of South Front Street was investigated.

Police were on the scene of a residential alarm in the 100 block of Maple Street.

Officers addressed a report of a wire down in the area of North Eighth and Oak streets.

At Coplay Police Department, 98 S. Fourth St., a custody issue was reported.

Officers assisted Whitehall police with a tree down in the area of West Coplay Road and North Ruch Street.

The department assisted with a child custody issue in the 100 block of North Ninth Street.

A missing generator in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street was reported.
