Allen/East Allen townships: Tavern nights set

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, has announced the performers for the next two tavern nights on the society’s campus.

On March 9, The Blue Route Blues Band returns. There will be tastings of Seminary View wines, with bottles available.

Performing April 13 will be Pawnshop Bound, featuring Rick Young, and there will be tastings by Sleepy Cat Winery.

The tavern nights are held the second Friday of the month, September through April, except for December and are BYOB, with free light snacks and soft drinks, great bands, dancing and spirit and wine tastings. Hours are 7-10 p.m. Doors open 6:30 p.m. for tables.

A $10 donation is requested, and attendees must be 21. For more information, visit govwolf.org.

Lappawinzo Fish & Game, 25 Lappawinzo Road, will hold a breakfast 8 a.m.-noon March 18. The event is open to the public. There is a cost.
