John J. Mishko
John “Jack” J. Mishko, Sr., 84, of Northampton, died Jan. 2, 2018, at home. He was the husband of Eileen (Heffelfinger) Mishko.
Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late John and Julia (Zerosh) Mishko.
He was a graduate of Northampton High School. He continued his education at Albright University and East Stroudsburg University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in education. He received his master’s degree from Temple University.
He was a teacher in the Easton School District for 29 years.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James and his wife Michele (Abraham) and Eric and his wife Brenda (Dalrymple); four grandchildren, Austin and his wife Nicole (Turner), Gunnar, Zachary and Brooke; a daughter-in-law, Michele (Wheeler) Mishko; and a sister, June Jean Mishko.
He was predeceased by a son, John James Mishko, Jr.
