Northampton Area High School Students of the Month named
Northampton Exchange Club at its May 10 Service to Youth program, held at Northampton Banquet & Event Center, paid tribute to three Northampton Area High School seniors for their outstanding academic/scholastic achievements and in-school and out-of-school service. Cited were Bryanne Horn, Dylan Baird and Kenley Rogers.
The honorees, Students of The Month, were accorded Lamp of Knowledge plaques, certificates and club pens.
Dr. Rodger Berg, program chairman, cited the seniors for their excellence in the classroom and with other activities, also noting a strong family bond from when they were very young to when they matriculated through elementary and middle school and now NAHS graduates — with a bright future ahead for them.
Bryanne Horn, May Girl of the Month, is part of National Honor Society, Volunteer Club, DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), is an Angel 34 board member/volunteer, received honor roll status, is a volunteer for food drives in Northampton and Phillipsburg and shadowed in a physician and physician assistant’s program.
Dylan Baird, May Boy of the Month, is part of National Honor Society, DECA, German Club, German American Partnership, varsity basketball, varsity soccer and AAU basketball.
Kenley Rogers, June Girl of the Month, is part of National Honor Society, DECA, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and Student Council (president) and has participate with Lehigh Valley Workforce for a film promotion video/maintaining the website and with Equi-librium, a horse therapy company.
