Moore Township: Movie night set for June 16

Moore Township is holding a free movie night, showing “Rogue One,” June 16 in the Moore Township Recreation Center, located off Route 946.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, is having a flea market beginning 7 a.m. June 17.

Food will be available for purchase.

Also at Salem June 17, there will be a Friends of Phoebe blood drive and jewelry sale 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church, located at 696 Johnson Road, is having dessert and a movie night starting 6 p.m. June 17. The film to be shown is “God’s Not Dead 2.”

Ingredients will be available to make your own sundae, or you can bring a dessert to share.

The women’s group of Emmanuel’s Evangelical Lutheran Church invites the community to a miniature golf outing 7 p.m. June 20. The event will be held at Lucky Strokes Golf & Grill, 7200 Airport Road, Bath. There is a cost.

Rain date is June 21.

Moore Township Athletic Association (MTAA) is holding a fundraiser for fall football and cheerleading sports. On Aug. 27, there will be a basket raffle during the first game of the season.

Organizers are asking for donations from residents, area groups and businesses. Donations could include baskets, gift cards or cash donations.

Additionally, MTAA is selling advertising opportunities in the form of yard signs to be displayed at all fall sports home games. There is a cost for each sign.
