Catasauqua: Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church to hold sale Saturday

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be having its annual yard and bake sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. June 17. The event is rain or shine.

There will be a wide variety of merchandise, and all of the delicious baked goods are made by the members.

Food and refreshments also will be available.


Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association’s Biery House, 8 Race St. will be open 1-4 p.m. June 18. There will be a PowerPoint presentation and discussion titled “Architecture of Catasauqua’s Historic Homes.”

Parking is at Deily Coal Yard, 5 Union St.

The Biery House will be open the first and third Sundays of June, July, August and September. Each month will feature a different free program.

Members of the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, will hold their next meeting 7 p.m. June 20 at the pavilion of the house. On the agenda is covering details for the Fourth of July, as well as other regular business.

The public is welcome to attend.

Additionally, the GTH is looking for volunteers with advertising and social medial experience or interest.


Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, Second and Pine streets, will be holding its Vacation Bible School 9 a.m.-noon June 26-30. The theme is “Rome, Paul and the Underground Church.”
