The Moore Township football and cheerleading groups are sponsoring a car wash and bake sale, Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Borek football field in the Moore Recreation Center.
Proceeds will benefit a local Moore Township family in need.
Opening day for Moore Township football and cheerleading will take place, Sunday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Moore Recreation Center Borek field.
There will be event activities as well as a basket raffle.

Moore Township has commemorative pottery mugs and September lottery calendars currently for sale.
Proceeds will go toward the 250th anniversary celebration scheduled in 2015.
