Preschool enrollment begins

Christ United Church of Christ, located at 913 South Mink Road in Danielsville, is now enrolling preschool children for the 2014-15 school year.

Christ UCC is also hosting the Northampton County 4-H fair from Friday, Aug. 8, through Sunday, Aug. 10. The fair is open to the public. For more information contact Connie VanBlargan at

The annual country festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the church. The event will feature live music, food and games for children and adults of all ages. A cakewalk is planned, along with a raffle featuring more than 100 great prizes. Rain date is Sunday, Aug. 17 from noon to 6 p.m.


Moorestown Garden Club will have its next meeting Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. The club meets at Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, Bath. For more information call 610-759-1652.

Moore Township has commemorative pottery mugs and lottery calendars for sale for the month of September. Proceeds will go toward the 250th anniversary celebration scheduled for 2015. To find out how to purchase either item, call the township building at 610-759-9449.


Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, has story time every Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m. through Aug. 13. There will be stories, songs, crafts and a snack each week for free.

There are two separate age groups: 3-6 years and 7-10 years.
