Completely different: The 34th annual Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre (MSMT) season continues with "Monty Python's Spamalot," opening July 9 and continuing through July 27, Baker Theatre, Trexler Pavilion for Theater and Dance, Muhlenberg College, 2400 Chew St., Allentown. "Spamalot," a 2005 Tony Award recipient for best musical, is adapted from the 1975 movie, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." The Python's Eric Idle wrote the book for the musical. Neil Innes, John du Prez and Idle wrote the music. Idle wrote the lyrics. Ed Bara, above left, plays King Arthur. Shani Hadjian, above, right, plays The Lady of the Lake. "Spamalot" is directed by James Peck. Justin Brehm is music director. Sammy Reyes is choreographer. Curtain is 8 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. "Tarzan" yell: The Lehigh Valley premiere of "Disney's Tarzan: The Broadway Musical" continues through July 13, auditorium, Northeast Middle School, 1170 Fernwood St., Bethlehem. Songs for the 2006-'07 Broadway stage musical were written by Phil Collins, whose "You'll Be In My Heart" won a 2000 Oscar. The book for the show is by David Henry Hwang. The musical is produced by Sing for America, which is composed of five siblings of the Gilbert family, to raise money for area families who have a mother or father in the United States military.
