Moore Elementary spring carnival this evening

Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive, Bath, is holding its Spring Carnival, Thursday, June 5, from 4-8 p.m. There will be games, activity stands, bouncers, food stands and basket raffles. Prizes will be available for those who take their chances on the games.

Proceeds from the carnival benefit the Moore Elementary PTA.

Moore Township is holding an electronics recycling day Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Electronic devices can be dropped off at Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive, Bath.

Mountain View Wesleyan Church, 1001 Deemer Road, Bath, is sponsoring a Yokefellowship Prison Ministry training session, Sunday, June 8, 1:30 p.m.

Emmanuel's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, Bath, is offering Wilderness Escape vacation Bible school, June 22-26, from 6-8 p.m. A light supper will be served from 5:30-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Register online at or call the church office at 610-837-1741.


Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, Bath, will host story time every Wednesday morning, from 9:30-11 a.m. starting June 18 through Aug.13.

The theme will be "God Created Everything." There will be stories, songs, crafts and a snack each week for free. There will be two separate age groups forming: 3-6 years of age and 7-10 years of age. A parent must stay if their child is under the age of 3.

Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, Bath, is sponsoring a poker run, Saturday, June 7. Registration is from 10 a.m. to noon. Food and refreshments will be available from 2-4 p.m.

The club is also having an all-you-can-eat breakfast, June 8, from 8:30-11 a.m. and a 3-D archery shoot, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
