Northampton Varsity Tennis team traveled to Oakmont Tennis Club in Allentown to face league rival William Allen High School on March 20.

In the singles matches, Northampton took two out of three contests with Northampton's Tyler Nicholas and Tom Reinhard defeating William Allen's Nate Stuart and Ben Gilbert, both in two sets. In doubles matches Northampton dominated with the teams of Cowitch and Zamadics, Burger and Szerencsits and Kunkle and Miller all claiming victories over the Allen doubles teams.

Overall, Northampton took the win with a final score of 6-1.

Northampton welcomed Wilson Area High School on Monday, March 24, for the team's home opener. While the team worked hard, the overall match took on a very different tone than their earlier contest and Northampton fell to Wilson with a score of 5-2.

The tennis team is looking forward to welcoming Emmaus for a home game on March 27. Northampton will then travel to Dieruff for an away game on April 1.
