Marietta "Marty" Krause, 80, of Allentown, died Feb. 17, 2014, after a four and a half year battle with cancer, at the V.N.A. Hospice of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Krause for 55 years.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Lynn) Calvert.

She was a 1951 graduate of William Allen High School.

She was in advertising and had a radio show on WKAP.

She was a buyer for Hess Brothers Department Store.

She worked at Dorneyville Pharmacy with her late husband.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She volunteered at Western Salisbury Elementary School, where she was a five consecutive term PTA president.

She was a volunteer and fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.

She is survived by three daughters, Lynn A. and her husband Thomas J. Jacoby of Salisbury Township, Lori Jo and her husband Glen Rassler of Emmaus and Lisa Beth of Bethlehem; and three grandchildren, Patrick T. and Tara L. Jacoby.

She was predeceased by four brothers, John "Jack", Thomas, Lindberg and Robert Calvert; and two sisters, Rhea Dittrich and Emily Myers.
