Thomas Hudak, 90, of Whitehall, died Feb. 10, 2014, in Whitehall Manor. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Lupcho) Hudak.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Frank and Rosa (Machok) Hudak.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.
He was a supervisor for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for many years.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he was a sexton, choir member, pierogie maker and a member of the senior group.
He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post No. 454.
He was active with the Men of Malvern and the First Catholic Slovak Union.
He is survived by five sons, Thomas J. and his wife Valerie of Alburtis; Joseph T., James A. and his wife Gloria and Frederick A. and his wife Gail, all of Whitehall; and Jeffrey J. of Lehigh Township; five daughters, Kathleen and her husband Richard Vrabel of Boiling Springs, Theresa Hudak and Diane and her husband Kevin Lloyd, all of Whitehall, JoAnne Sardella of Coplay and Jane and her husband Raymond Horensky of North Whitehall; 21 grandchildren; 17 great– grandchildren; a great–great–granddaughter; numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was predeceased by a son, William J.
