Stanley W. Smith, 86, of Allentown, died Dec.1, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of Dorothy S. (Kline) Smith for 63 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Victor T. and Clara P. (Hunsicker) Smith.

He was a 1945 graduate of Northampton High School and a 1957 graduate of Muhlenberg College.

He was an Electrician's Mate 2nd Class in the U.S Navy during World War II.

He was a courtesy driver for Bennett Jaguar, Allentown, until he retired in 2008. Before that, he was an engineer at the Borough of Macungie Water Department; Horsham Clinic, Ambler; HCSC Laundry services, Allentown; and Dragon and Coplay Cement companies.

He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton, where he formerly taught Sunday School and was a handbell choir member.

He organized the Hunsicker and Smith family reunions.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Kit L. of Allentown, Mark C. at home, Roderick D. and his wife Victoria of Allentown, Holly M. and her husband Terry Olewine of Schnecksville, and Rhonda J. and her husband Gabriel Santilli of Schnecksville; a brother, Willard and his wife Eleanor Smith of Poway, Calif.; a sister, Eleanor and her husband Eugene Kovalchik of Catasauqua; and five grandchildren, Cody, Katrina, Marissa, Jared and Max.

He was predeceased by a son, Collin C. Smith; and two brothers, Warren and LeRoy Smith.

A calling hour is scheduled for 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service 10:30 a.m. Dec. 5, at the church, 902 Lincoln St., Northampton.
