Jingle Babes rock: The Jingle Babes, above, "Deck the Halls with Songs and Folly," 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5, State Theatre for the Arts, 453 Northampton St., Easton. The Jingle Babes is the holiday edition of The Four Bitchin' Babes, which has been dazzling audiences on stage for more than 20 years, including nine recordings and a concert DVD. The Babes (Sally Fingerett, Debi Smith, Deirdre Flint, Marcy Marxer), who accompanying themselves on guitar, mandolin, ukulele, bass, piano and the Irish Bodhran, sing and perform an evening of carols and comedy in four-part harmony. Going Dutch for Christmas: Experience Christmas Eve 1842 with a Pennsylvania-German family at the historic 1756 Pennsylvania German Troxell-Steckel Farmhouse, 4229 Reliance St., Egypt, Whitehall Township, with hour-long holiday tours, noon - 5:15 p.m. Dec. 7. "Our goal is to let the public relive early Pennsylvania German Christmas customs, many of which have become national holiday traditions," said Joseph Garrera, executive director of the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, which hosts the event. The Pennsylvania German Belsnickel, also known as "St. Nicholas in furs," hands out treats.
