Frances A. (Bednarcik) Bobyak, 80, of Fullerton Village and the Oakwood section of Whitehall, died Oct. 1, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospice. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Bobyak.

Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Theresa (Mayer) Bednarcik.

She was a Central Catholic High School graduate.

She worked in the patisserie of Wegman's, Tilghman Street, Allentown, for eight years. She was also a clerk in the Whitehall Township treasurer's office.

She was a member of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, where she was in the prayer shawl ministry.

She is survived by a daughter, Monica B. and her husband Robert Knapp of Breinigsville; a son, Michael G. and his wife Caroline (Kruk) of Whitehall; two granddaughters, Victoria and Olivia Bobyak; a brother, Daniel B. and his wife Catherine "Kitty" Benarcik of Wilmington, Del; and sister-in-law, Vincentine "Vinnie" Bednarcik of Bethlehem; nieces; nephews; and caregivers.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Anna Pramick, Katherine Benarcik, Theresa Bednarcik and an infant, Maria Bednarcik; and four brothers, John and Paul Bednarcik and Michael D. and Emil Bednarcik.
