No further action was taken by police or firefighters, police said.

Disturbance

reported

Borough police responded to a report of juveniles fighting in the late afternoon hours Oct. 3 at Chestnut and North Ruch streets.

Police said they were unable to find anyone in the area.

Women cited

Police were called to the unit block of North Front Street in response to a report of two women fighting and yelling at one another from across the street.

Keisha Rodriguez, 40, and Rose Cruz, no age given, were both cited with disorderly conduct, police said.

Vehicles collide

Diana Pena of Northampton and Gary Fister of Catasauqua were involved in a traffic accident Sept. 30 at Second and Chestnut streets.

Pena stopped her 2007 Toyota at a traffic light on North Second Street when Fister, operating a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, struck the woman's vehicle from behind, according to police.

Fister told police as he reached down to retrieve a water bottle that fell down, his vehicle drifted into the rear of Pena's car, police said.
