Church to serve dinner

An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held in the social hall of St. Nicholas Church 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

The home-cooked meal will include salad with dressings, garlic bread, homemade sauce with choice of homemade meatballs or sweet Italian sausage, soft drinks, coffee and tea. Desserts, wine and beer will also be available for purchase.

Takeout is available.

St. Nick's is located at 4412 Mountain View Drive, on Rout 946 in Berlinsville.

Walk-ins are welcome, but to aid those planning the event, advance reservations are encouraged.

The local chapter of Yokefellowship Prison Ministry is holding a family style chicken dinner Sunday, April 14, at 5 p.m. Guest speakers include Larry Coleman and Pastor Christopher Santos, and a special musical performance by Joyful Noise, a southern gospel quartet.

Door prizes and a silent auction will be offered.

The dinner will be held at Bethany Wesleyan Church located on 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville.

All proceeds to benefit the prison ministry.

The Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company Country Garden will be holding an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Sunday, April 21.

The breakfast will include a large variety of breakfast items.

All proceeds benefit the fire company.


Cherryville Senior Center, located at Hope Lutheran Church, Route 248, Cherryville, has the following activities scheduled:

Monday, April 15: 10:30 a.m., gentle exercise

Tuesday, April 16: Center Closed

Wednesday, April 17: 12:30 p.m., penny bingo

Thursday, April 18: 10:30 a.m., quilting; "Puzzle Day"

Friday, April 19: 12:30 p.m., games
