Vandalism reported

Coplay Police were called Feb.22 to the 100 block of South Front Street for a report of vandalism.

Police said the license plate bracket had been broken off the parked 1994 Ford camper and a Duralast battery valued at $150 had been taken from the vehicle.

Police are investigating.

Police respond to disturbance

A disturbance Feb. 20 shortly after 9 p.m. brought police to a residence in the 100 block of South Front Street.

Officers were told a woman unplugged several electrical items in the apartment and took keys belonging to another person, police said.

The woman left the apartment before police arrived, police said.

Reckless driving reported

Police were called at 3:22 p.m. Feb. 18 about a reckless driver playing loud music.

Police were told a black vehicle with zebra-striped seat covers and blaring music was traveling east on Chestnut Street from Ruch Street.

Officers located the vehicle before it turned north on Second Street and left the borough.
