Breakfast set for Nov. 18

The Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company Country Garden will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast Sunday, Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The menu will include a large variety of breakfast items.

All proceeds benefit the fire company.

The Lehigh Township Historical Society announces two dates for a holiday open house in December.

On Dec. 2 and 9, from 1 to 4 p.m., the historical centre will be open for visitors and shoppers.

Many unique items are available for purchase for gift giving including maps, ornaments, shirts, DVDs and books.

Two free educational programs are coming up on Jan. 28 and Feb. 25 at Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

More details will follow.

Regular monthly meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the historical center. The public is invited.
